ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The 18th annual “Angelitos Card Week,” a fundraiser that supports an Orange County nonprofit, kicks off next month with a “card sale,” that allows shoppers to enjoy store and restaurant discounts at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, while also supporting a local charity.
Angelitos de Oro, a Santa Ana-based volunteer auxiliary group, is partnering with the mall for the card sales, with proceeds benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire, for the discount/fundraiser offer that runs Oct. 3-9.
The cards are $60, and offer savings of 20 percent-plus at more than 120 participating stores and restaurants during the weeklong fundraiser, according to organizers.
Community members can purchase the card and view a full list of participating Card Week stores and restaurants at angelitosdeoro.org. Beginning the last week in September, the card will also be available for purchase in-person at South Coast Plaza concierge locations and select participating retailers, mall officials said.
