Today, you can grab some back to school items, and support a great cause at the same time. You can do that by going to Responders Grill and Bar off Highway 7 in Blue Springs. From 5-9pm, you can get themed items for your kids, complete with pens and markers. Each backpack includes an autographed copy of “Wonderful World of Weather,” written by KMBC’s own Bryan Busby. Proceeds go to A Walk For Sam, a local charity that supports special needs causes, and the Hero Fund, for local first responders. For more information, click here.
